The Client Process
Upon initial engagement of a client organisation, Bridgewater will undertake a highly comprehensive process of assessment and evaluation of each specific role in order to provide the most effective resourcing solution. This process involves a number of stages which are key in understanding the precise requirements of the role and to completely satisfy the needs of the client. This procedure will take the following stages:
CONSULTATION & DISCUSSION
A thorough understanding and knowledge of the client organisation, its people, culture and goals are obtained by Bridgewater in addition to the key requirements of the role and the essential, desirable and trainable qualities of the ideal candidate. A candidate profile is then constructed and further discussion is undertaken, identifying the organisations and market sectors that are likely to house individuals of the appropriate calibre. A target list of companies and potential candidates within the appropriate market is then complied, which will include individuals of particular interest, reputation and track record. It is essential that this stage in the process is as compressive as possible in order to completely satisfy the client’s requirements.
SEARCH, SCREENING & PRESENTATION
Bridgewater is highly proactive in the identification, engagement and resourcing of appropriate individuals and will undertake a combination of direct market approach, referral and finely honed networking skills in order to source the best possible talent for the role, which is unlikely to be the most available.
Suitable candidates are interviewed and screened in order to ensure suitability for the role and the client organisation, this will take the form of an initial outline discussion to assess career experience, qualifications and personality, once initial appropriateness has been established more detailed dialogue will then take place, exploring career history and highlights in more depth and investigating further into skills and expertise. Once screened, a candidate shortlist will be prepared and presented to move to the interview process.

INTERVIEW PREPARATION AND FEEDBACK
Before each interview Bridgewater will thoroughly prepare candidate and client in order to ensure that all parties are comfortable, informed and as prepared as possible which will ensure that the conversation / meeting goes well, all individuals involved have a positive experience and achieve the most out of the meeting. This procedure is applied to each interview and subsequent stages, ensuring consistency.
CONCLUSION & CONTINUED SUPPORT
After interviews have taken place and a decision is made upon the selection of the appropriate candidate, offer negotiation will commence. Bridgewater is able to provide informed market salary / package information in order to ensure that any offer is appropriate and geared towards the desires of the preferred candidate, this will in turn safeguard offer acceptance and a satisfactory conclusion. Bridgewater has the ability to expedite all offer and salary negotiations on the candidate’s behalf, whilst providing any necessary support with counter-offers should this situation arise.
Bridgewater will keep in regular communication with candidate and client during notice periods and ensure that the process runs smoothly and effectively, avoiding any potential hurdles that may result. The initial months of employment for each candidate are critical to success and Bridgewater will work closely with the candidate during this period in order to integrate and deal with any potential challenges and issues that may take place before they become problematic.
